Oahu Photographers/ Sunrise Family Session/ The N Family

The N Family is a military family who was getting ready to change duty stations in the next month or so. But before they packed up their belongings and left the Hawaiian Islands, they wanted to capture this chapter in their lives with one last family session with me.

This was the second time I was lucky enough to shoot a session with this family. The N family is very near and dear to my heart and although I was super excited to do another session with them, I was also super sad knowing that their time in Hawaii was coming to an end.

Choosing a location wasn't difficult for them as they wanted to pick a spot where they visited often. They also decided to shoot at sunrise because they knew that not only would it provide great lighting, but that the chances of it being secluded would be high. They were correct with both predictions. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect morning to have their session. Nevermind that they slept through their alarm clock and had to rush out of their house, or that lil man PJ was not in the best mood to start the session... it was still absolutely a perfect morning!

The trio showed up in matching outfits that symbolized the colors of the rising sun and beautiful blue Pacific Ocean. They also chose those colors because both P & J were graduates of the University of Florida, so it made sense to be sporting their orange and blue, lol. They're lucky I like them- haha!

The backdrop was perfect. The colors of the sunrise was absolutely gorgeous!!! The temperature that morning was just right. Not too hot... not too cold... not too windy. Just right! It was early so very few were out. PJ made me work a little to get that cute smile of his to come out, but it came out. He is so adorable! And the location was the perfect location. Each turn that you took brought you a different back drop. Beach. Green grass. Rocks. You name it. There were so many different backdrops that you would've thought we drove to a few different locations for the session. :). Can't have asked for anything more that day.
