M reached out to me via IG, inquiring for more info about my Oahu Wedding Photographer services to capture her special day.
They currently reside in Texas, but because C grew up on Oahu, they decided to have a small wedding for his family and friends, before their large one in Texas.
I instantly connected with M & C from the very beginning of our conversations. It was the very first time I met them, but it felt like I've known them forever- which is a feeling that I always strive for with all of my clients.
The ceremony was held at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Kaneohe, where C attended church and went to school. The staff there was wonderful to work with; very helpful from start to finish!
We did a quick portrait session after the ceremony on the church property before heading to the reception.
The celebration afterward was held at a community center just down the road from the church in Kaneohe, Hawaii. They had such a cute set-up. The family worked together to decorate the place. The food was delicious, and the beautiful cake was from Sam's Club. Did you know they made wedding cakes??? I sure didn't!
We were able to sneak out for half an hour during the celebration for a couples session with the most gorgeous views of the Koolau Mountain Range. It was breathtaking! It was a beautiful celebration. M & C were surrounded by so many loving family members and friends. M's immediate family also flew in for the festivities, it was their first time visiting the state. I was blessed to be a part of it all!
