Waikiki Couples Portrait Photographer/ One-Yr Wedding Anniversary Day 2/ S & A

S & A wanted to showcase the mountains during the 2nd day of their wedding anniversary celebration session. So this time around we headed to the windward side of Oahu. Our original goal was actually to get to a specific spot by a certain time of the day, but unfortunately that spot was being occupied by a fellow photographer. But not to worry... I always have a back-up plan and that back-up plan is just as beautiful! We had to do a little bit of hiking to get to where we needed to go. It was a very peaceful morning, and just like the beach spot, this spot was just as secluded. We had the place to ourselves! It allowed us to roam around freely, without having to worry about changing angles to limit the amount of people that I'd have to photoshop out during the editing part. It was a beautiful thing! LOL.

We arrived around sunrise, in hopes that they'd open up the park a little sooner than advertised. Unfortunately, the gate guard actually opened the gates a little later, but that's alright... we worked with what we had. We spent a good amount of time with each other during day one, so day #2 was easy peasy! It was like old friends hanging out, except one of them (me) had a camera documenting EVERY MOVE! LOL. It was GREAT!!! S & A was super laidback (which I loved!) and even more comfortable in front of the camera. They may not have thought so, but they were practically professionals by now!

Once we arrived, we took advantage of every nook and cranny of our location. From the sandy coastline, to the mountain backdrop, to the palm trees and wooden areas. We shot, and shot and shot some more! And just like the first day, I would randomly stop S & A during each transition, every time I would find another perfect spot to capture yet another shot. It may have gotten old for S & A, but it's ok... it made for a very versatile gallery that I was able to deliver to them.

I had a wonderful time with S & A. This was my second 2-day session booked with a client and I absolutely love it! As I noted on my website, my goal is always to make lifetime friends with my clients and having two days with them gives me a greater opportunity to get to know them on a deeper level. It also allows us to do more exploring, making their experience even more rich! It's a win-win situation! :) I'm hoping to do more of these type of experiences in the future.

Thank you, S & A, for trusting me with such an important documentation. I absolutely adore you two; you guys were so awesome to work with!!! Happy One Year Anniversary to the both of you! Cheers to many more happy and healthy years ahead!!!
